How to Convert Your LP's to CD's Using the Crosley CR248

Load a compatible CD-R or CD-RW (make sure it says "recordable").
Make sure the function is on Phono and the record speed is set to the correct speed.
Begin playing the song you wish to record.
Press the CD Record button. "Record" will flash on the screen.
To separate "tracks" on the CD, press the Split Track button (either on the unit or the remote) between songs.
You may stop and start recording at any time by pushing Stop and CD Record. This allows you to turn the record over or switch 45's as often as you wish until the disc is finalized.
Once you've finished recording, push the Finalize button. "Final" will show on the display and "Finalize" will flash during the process.
After the CD has been finalized, the display will show "F Done. Finalizing the disc will enable it to be played on any CD player. If a disc is not finalized it will only play on the CR248.
